Antibes Green...

This is a piece that my sister had for a number of years and recently offered to me.  It's dovertailed at the back of the drawers, (haven"t seen that before), has gorgeous brass pulls and I thought it had a lot of potential.  After painting three of the drawers I realized I hadn't taken a before picture...no I have not yet improved in that department. :)

Painted in Antibes Green, only one coat and distressed back to reveal the lovely finish underneath.  I used a fair amount of dark wax as well

No before picture of the chair, but it has been recovered and painted in Old White, followed by a dry brush of 1/2 Old White and 1/2 French Linen.

I almost didn't post this piece because the pictures just did not come out well, the color is so much lovelier in person.

I picked up this sweet little statue at the thrift store a few weeks ago.  It had a shiny green finish that I didn't care for, but I just loved her.  Painted it with a combination of Old White, Country Grey, French Linen and finished with dark wax only.  Isn't she sweet?
