SOLD - French Style Writing Desk
Everybody loves a before and after... here's another one. :)
Last week I picked up this writing desk from a great little consignment shop called Panache. They just moved to Burnside Road in Saanich. Check them out if you get a chance.
I gave it a good cleaning and had to sand out a couple of raised spots on the top.
The top and the body was painted with a mix of Graphite and Old Ochre.
The second coat is Old Ochre. Love this colour!
First a little wet distress, clear wax, lots of dark wax and a little more distressing.
The finished piece in the showroom.
Love the pop of Scandinavian Pink inside the drawers.
