Before and After

Antique Record Cabinet Repurposed - SOLD

This great old record cabinet sat in a second hand furniture store for a couple of years and had no takers.
Although the inside was charming, the records could only be stored without their sleeves so it limited potential buyers.
It could hold 50 records per shelf and still has the coordinating inventory lists inside the door (see picture at bottom)
Avert your eyes if you cannot handle the following picture.
We used a sawzall to remove all the dividers and rebuilt the shelves saving the charming number strips on each shelf.
I painted it in Arles and finished it with dark wax only.
She is even prettier in person.  Drop by the store and see for yourself.
